We were approached at the end of 2023 by a local developer team to lead the design of a multi-unit project in Greenfield.

Our approach was that of “home” – ensuring that the units, whether rented or owned, carried with them a sense of ownership. Townhomes were found to be the best form for this project. Architectural elements (such as demising walls and overhangs) were exaggerated to break up an otherwise large building into smaller houses, creating screening and covered entries and conveying a sense of privacy. Inside, the design uses a continuous staircase to create a connected space for living, with a kitchen, living room and two upstairs bedrooms, all arranged around the central stair.
